Christmas Time. It's a time of great suffering and carnage for non-human animals.
The Christmas Seasons' of the past have often been so distressing for many animal activists that it has seemed the best option for the day has been to opt out of the mass consumer ‘festivities' of watching family and friends pile their plates high with animal parts and carcasses.
Yet every opportunity to increase awareness of animal rights is a time to educate through the food we eat, the gifts we give and how we respond to the frustrations of those inevitable questions on why we are vegan in the first place.
We invited several terrific well-known vegan cooks and chefs to devise their perfect vegan cruelty-free Christmas fare for us. Here are those spectacular menus with recipes to enjoy.
